This is only the 3rd such storm since we moved here. First it snows and then turns to a freezing rain. Not the thickest I've seen but a respectable 1/2 inch ice encapsulating about 4 inches of snow.
What is interesting is how sounds echo throughout the neigborhood because of all the hard surfaces.
